Water as conduit-where surrender meets clarity

Controlling our thoughts begins with surrender.

In a world that moves fast, our thoughts often go unchecked. Between the errands, the deadlines, and the constant noise, we think things that are wildly out of balance. We barely notice these thoughts, and without the authority that comes from being spiritually grounded, it’s easy to get lost.

As a parent, my thoughts range from “What’s for dinner?” to “Are my kids okay?” to the random swirl of memories, worries, and what-ifs. Some thoughts are harmless. Others are heavy. And when they pile up, they start to shape how we feel, how we act, and how we see ourselves, highlighting the need for spiritual authority.

For me, spiritual authority is my anchor. It’s where I turn when my thoughts feel louder than truth. But what about those who don’t have that anchor? Where do they turn?

Unchecked thoughts can lead to anxiety, depression, and even deeper mental health struggles like schizophrenia. We seek counseling, take the medication prescribed, turn to substances to quiet the noise, cry, rage, and spiral. https://journals.plos.org/plosone

This is where many turn when they don’t know there’s another way. But there is a way through spiritual authority, as it’s often overlooked.https://truth-unveiled.org/2025/07/18/god-is-and-always-will-be-there/

It doesn’t begin with Control-it begins with surrender.

Faith the size of a mustard seed-spiritual authority to move mountains
Even the smallest seed, when rooted in belief, carries the power to move what feels immovable.”

Faith That Grows in Silence

Climbing with Mustard-Seed Faith

Faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. Not just the towering ones in the distance—but the quiet ones within. The obstacles we face daily: anxiety, distraction, bitterness, confusion. We won’t all agree on how to reach inner peace. Some won’t even seek it. But for those who do, peace begins with authority— Not over circumstances, but over thoughts, through an understanding of spiritual authority. It’s learning to recognize the lies. You need to silence the spirals. You must put into practice the tools we’ve been given: Scripture, surrender, stillness, and Spirit.
